Headed for the Country…

I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. My two adult sons are forty-five and forty-two. My granddaughters are twenty and ten, and I have a grandson who is one and there’s a new baby on the way.

After years of always giving and doing for others, I made a resolution this year (2020) to do more for me first. Two and a half months in, so far so good. It has also occurred to me in recent months just how blessed my life has been. With all the bitching, I have no reason to because God has definitely been in my corner for a very long time.

I was born in the country, currently live in the city, and it’s my dream to get back to the country someday. Not sure if that’s going to happen because I’m not getting any younger. I do know that my final resting place will be in the country…in a place so beautiful that I know I will rest peacefully for eternity.
